In recognition of International Women’s Day—and inspired by this year’s theme, “Give to Gain”—CLICO Credit Union is proud to launch EmpowHER: When We Support Girls, Futures Change, a donation drive dedicated to ending period poverty in Trinidad & Tobago.
Across our nation, too many girls still struggle to access essential menstrual hygiene products. This lack of access affects school attendance, self‑confidence, and overall well‑being. When we give dignity, care, and opportunity to young women, our entire community grows stronger, healthier, and more equitable.
How You Can Support
We invite members, partners, and the wider public to contribute by donating any of the following new, unopened items:
- Pads
- Tampons
- Panty liners
- Feminine wipes
- Newly packaged underwear
- Period underwear
- Menstrual cups
Donation Drop-Off Locations

All contributions will be distributed to homes supporting girls ages 10–18, ensuring these young women have the resources they need to manage their menstrual health with dignity.
